Coord. CF & RV Credit Risk.

As a CF & RV Coordinator you will be responsible for safeguarding the company’s assets and liabilities from adverse market movements, principally related to residual value (RV) through proactively managing risks and setting risk parameters in accordance with both, economic projections and the risk strategy/appetite of BMW Financial Services.

You will define and monitor the credit risk policies for commercial finance.

Responsibilities.

  • Responsible for establishing and monitoring of local credit guidelines/regulations, risk policies, procedures, and controls in commercial finance business areas and residual value within the local organization.
  • Responsible for the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports, forecasts and analysis for internal and external distribution.
  • Provides presentations referring to the credit risk and residual value management topics for various committees, e.g., local Management Committee, National & Regional Risk Committee, Product Committee.
  • Establishes the local residual value risk management guideline. Ensures adherence to the BMW Group guidelines for RV.
  • Regularly validates and back tests all credit risk parameters (Standard RV Risk Cost, Provisioning, CVaR, Credit Guideline, return rate).
  • Sets Base Residual Values, manages the RV risk bearing portfolio and advises on RV market trends and developments.
  • Prepares internal / external prognosis and internal realized market value information.

Qualifications and experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in actuarial sciences, mathematics, economics, or other studies with strong mathematical and statistical background.
  • 3 - 4 years of professional experience in credit risk management or finance area.
  • Mathematical aptitude and proven analytical skills.
  • Experience in building statistical or financial models with large amounts of data.
  • Experience in programming with SAS, SQL, Python, or R.
