Lead Attorney

Trademark Attorney / IP Client Relationship Lead (Hybrid – Global Focus) Location: Hybrid (3 days in-office ideally in Mexico City or nearby (local candidates preferred) / 2 days remote)
Trademarkia ( is the largest trademark filing law firm in the United States, with over 120,000 clients worldwide. We are in the process of revamping Trademarkia for the future — shifting toward higher-quality intellectual property legal advice delivered through personalized video consultations, including:
Pre-recorded, personalized Loom videos for each client
We are seeking a client-focused trademark attorney who thrives on relationship building, client development, and clear communication, while also handling substantive trademark legal work.
This is a hybrid role:
~3 days per week working from the office
~2 days per week working remotely

Client relationship management and development is the primary skill
Legal work supports the relationship — not the other way around
Build long-term relationships through video consultations and follow-ups
Deliver clear, practical advice using live and recorded video
Record custom Loom videos explaining legal advice, next steps, and strategy
Maintain excellent responsiveness via video, email, chat, and phone
Legal & Substantive Work
Handle oppositions, office actions, and portfolio management
AI is a tool to enhance quality and efficiency, not replace legal judgment
Hybrid work model:
~3 days in office in Mexico city (you will help us set up a co-working space)
~2 days remote
~ Flexible working hours, but you must be:
~ Available for scheduled video meetings
~ You will provide a weekly availability schedule (between 7 AM – 9 PM, Monday–Friday, local time), approved in advance by your Practice Manager / HR

Licensed Attorney in Mexico with Trademark or Patent prosecution experience.
Complete fluency in English
Experience in trademark law, including:
Portfolio management
Strong understanding of trademark laws and procedures
Comfortable delivering advice via video (live and recorded)
Experience working with international or remote clients is a strong plus
If you make it past our prescree nphase, you will be required to submit a 2-minute Loom video in spoken English:

Fluency and comfort speaking in English is important to this role.
