Event Marketing Contractor Location: Mexico City, Mexico (Remote) Employment Type: Contract We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Event Marketing Contractor to join our client's team in the technology sector. In this role, you will contribute to planning, executing, and managing in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with business objectives. Coordinate end-to-end planning and delivery for in-person, virtual, and hybrid events. Convert intake briefs into scoped plans with objectives, KPIs, budget, and timeline. Conduct cross-functional planning and standups; Work with Event Coordinators and Producers; Vendor sourcing, SOW/RFP, selection, PO/WO inputs, and performance tracking. Partner with Event & Speaker Content Manager on agendas, speakers, talk tracks, and approvals. Manage budget forecast, accruals, and reconciliation; Ensure lead capture plans and data quality; hand off to CRM and Sales for follow-up. Deliver post-event reports with insights, ROI, and recommendations for continuous improvement. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or similar focus. ~6–8 years experience in B2B event marketing/management with multi-market delivery. ~ Proven vendor, budget, timeline, and stakeholder management. ~ Experience with registration and virtual event platforms. ~ Ability to travel and support live event hours as needed. 8–10 years in B2B technology or enterprise events. ~ Experience with global tentpoles, partner, and third-party events. ~ Knowledge of privacy, brand, and accessibility standards for events. ~ Proficiency with Google Workspace; Asana/Smartsheet; analytics (Looker/Tableau); CRM/MA (Salesforce/Marketo or similar). ~ CMP or project management certification (PMP/Prince2) preferred. The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $21 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to the client.
