Online Spanish Teacher for English Speakers

Job Description Spanish55 is an internationally recognized company dedicated to providing personalized online Spanish classes at the basic, intermediate, and advanced levels. We are looking for Teachers with experience teaching a language as a foreign language. Position Details One-on-one sessions with students via Microsoft Teams (distance learning). Each session lasts 55 minutes. Compensation per session taught: $11–$12 USD Flexible schedule. Work from home. Available Hours: Saturday: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm Central / 6:00 am – 2:00 pm Pacific MUST Monday to Friday: 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm Central / 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm Pacific Flexible Minimum Requirements Verifiable experience as a language teacher (2+ years). 85% proficiency in spoken and written English Knowledge of methodology and techniques applied in language teaching (PPP, TTT, Communicative Approach, Task-based, etc.). Familiarity with the levels and competencies established in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Experience interacting and/or working with foreign adults; must feel comfortable interacting with foreign adults. Comfortable using MS Teams and/or Zoom. Proficient in using a computer. Punctuality and professional integrity. Reliable personal computer. Stable internet connection. Initial training lasting 2 to 4 weeks is required and will be paid. Note: Training in basic computer, basic video calling use, CEFR, is not provided.
