The upcoming Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo in Jalisco, Mexico rests on 3,000 acres of a protected natural reserve on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. Most of its 155 rooms will boast exceptional panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, enveloped by the surrounding jungle and lush golf course.
Four Seasons Resort Tamarindo is heartily committed to showcasing the very best of Mexican Art, Culture and Nature. The local community and their warmth are a key component of our guest experience and our Recreation Lead Attendant will imbue a passion for this destination and the Culture.
Be You:
The Recreation Lead Attendant will demonstrate the following key characteristics:
- Deliver high quality experiences in watersports and recreation activities with specialized knowledge in at least one subset of the operation (fishing, freediving, paddleboard/kayak, etc.).
- Uphold brand standards in the absence of the manager while making key decisions as related to daily operation
- Ensure proper standards of safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and functioning of equipment
- H andle all guest interactions in English and Spanish with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolve customer complaints, a ssist customers in all inquiries related to resort services
Master Your Craft:
Assist the Recreation Ass istant Manager in organizing water sports and recreation activities . Create memorable experiences for guests by p roviding excellent service according to Four Seasons Standards .
Desired Skills and Experience:
Education:
- High school education or equivalent experience
Experience:
- Minimum of five years' experience in recreation (hospitality preferred)
Skills and Abilities:
- Sound knowledge of water sports and recreational activities
- Outgoing personality with ability to interact with guests, colleagues, and service providers in a warm and friendly manner
- Advanced r eading, writing, and oral proficiency in English ( additional languages are a plus)
- Physically fit and able to swim
- Trained and certified in First Aid, CPR
