You will be working with a cross functional team to deliver commodity strategies, lead sourcing projects to achieve Total cost reduction and deliver a weatherproof supply chain.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- To manage a work-que and secure that POs are issued in due time.
- Ensure a close cooperation with Internal Customers (MRPCs, requisitioners) to ensure customer care and early involvement.
- Manage a portfolio of suppliers, negotiate price increase requests, prepare RFQ packs, run bidding processes, and conduct negotiations for medium Purchasing Volumes.
- Contribute to implementation and ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance (e.g. compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, Procurement guidelines, IT systems)
- Support Supplier Management processes (e.g. qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification); update supplier evaluation systems to obtain and develop the best suppliers and ensure transparency and high procurement quality.
- Maintain records of all documentation, adherence of online purchasing and contract management systems.
- Support and/or lead Procurement Business Plan activities.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience in Procurement.
- Strong SAP experience
- Team player with the ability to also work independently to meet fixed deadlines, goals and objectives. Strong problem-solving skills.
- Organized and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a complex, fast changing global organizational environment.
- Proven negotiation skills on proposals.
- Must be fluent in English.
