They must be able to:

  • Define and articulate opportunities for brand/category/market growth
  • Uncover deep insight but also generate the implications that will drive growth
  • Effectively influence the business to make the right consumer/shopper-led strategic and commercially savvy decisions
  • Fuel the business with consumer/shopper-led provocations and understanding to instigate change
  • Externally attentive - to culture, trends and marketplace dynamics to detect the factors that could positively or negatively impact growth

Qualifications :

We are looking for a confident personality with good communication skills and an open and inclusive approach. You will operate successfully in a fast-moving environment and have a constantly curious attitude. You will have demonstrated your ability to work within a cross-functional team and your passion for encouraging and influencing others.

The encouraged skills standards in the consumer planning community are brand builders, culture lovers, future shapers, and value creators.

  • 6+ years of experience in strategic planning, research, insights, and brand/business strategy roles, with deep client experience essential, but agency experience also desirable.
  • Great communication skills and ability to interact with those of a variety of different backgrounds and levels of seniority, as well as different cultures and perspectives.
  • Strong ability to simplify the complex to ensure that our brand-building tools and frameworks are fully understood and used.
  • Brilliant at spotting external opportunities, simplifying them, experimenting, and working out how to apply them to the organization at scale.
  • Skills in data management, from a qualitative to a quantitative approach + performance results and the capacity to connect data with insights.
