Since 1994, we have developed and acquired more than 1.26 million m2 across 9 strategic regions in Mexico, with investments exceeding $1 billion, together with partners such as AIG and Prudential, as well as our publicly listed fund Position Overview O'Donnell is seeking to hire an investment professional to join its Acquisition team responsible for advancing the firm's investment strategy. The primary responsibilities for the role include identifying, underwriting, and executing industrial real estate acquisitions across Mexico. The position requires strong financial acumen, deep market knowledge, and the ability to lead and execute complex transactions in close collaboration with senior leadership. Responsibilities Opportunity Sourcing & Market Coverage - Identify and develop a pipeline of acquisition opportunities for industrial properties. Participate and present in pipeline meetings, deal screening sessions, and investment committees Build and maintain relationships with developers, brokers, and institutional partners. Represent O'Donnell in industry forums and negotiations to strengthen the Firm's market positioning. Financial Analysis & Reporting - Build financial models, valuations, and risk analyses. Prepare investment memorandums and present recommendations to executive committees. Ensure acquisitions align with the Firm's capital and development strategy. Transaction Management - Actively coordinate the investment process (bidding, due diligence, and closing) Oversee legal, technical, and environmental due diligence processes. Coordinate internal teams and external advisors to achieve successful closings. Work collaboratively with colleagues in Development, Asset Management, and Finance teams to integrate new acquisitions. Market Intelligence & Strategy - Monitor industrial sector trends, supply-demand dynamics, and macroeconomic factors. Conduct strategic analysis to optimize the acquisitions portfolio and investment decisions. Produce executive reports on acquisitions activity and market outlook. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Civil Engineering, Real Estate, or related field (Master's preferred). 5–7 years of experience in real estate acquisitions or investments, preferably industrial. Superior analytical and financial modeling skills with demonstrated investment acumen, knowledge, and thoughtfulness as an equity investor Exceptional written and presentation skills and strong executive presence Deep knowledge of Mexico's industrial real estate market and regulatory framework. Fluent in Spanish and English. Willingness to travel within Mexico.
