As the Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will be focused on delivering world-class results and a competitive advantage to JM.
Balancing total cost of ownership (TCO), strategic and tactical delivery. You will develop the global Category strategy for MRO sub-categories and support, own and enable the delivery of global Category strategy in-region, whilst bringing in breakthrough ideas and best-in-class approaches.
You will be translating global led category strategies to sourcing and actions plan. Defining the team required to successfully deliver the project plan and undertaking category management activities as required whilst driving plans to a successful execution.
As the Sourcing Manager you will be Business Partnering with the Engineering and Maintenance teams to identify opportunities to optimise & standardise specifications, competitively bid spend across spend Categories to deliver cost savings and efficiencies to JM whilst Driving Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities with key suppliers across key Engineering and Maintenance suppliers, creating joint action plans to deliver value for JM and our supplier partners.

Your responsibilities :
Execute strategic sourcing processes to meet business requirements and deliver optimal result with maximium efficiency.
Manage sourcing and suppliers within assigned portfolio to provide capability, agility and best in class solutions to support JM transformation and growth.
Contribute to a global category strategy development with sourcing and supplier management perspective as well as inputs from internal and external stakeholders.
Drive best practices in strategic supplier management, performance monitoring and contract management.
In a co-operation with Stakeholders and Suppliers work on TCO reduction for the category across sectors and regions.
Propose and manage annual and multiyear sourcing plans to deliver best value to JM from existing market conditions, business changes and in support of long term category strategy.
Coordinate collaboration and maximise value added from GBS team assigned to support Category team(s).
Build and maintain category expertise in market intelligence and insights, as well as other category related developments (innovation, tools, new entrants etc) to lead best in class, competitive solutions.
Requirements for the role :
Extensive experience in successfully leading and conducting the negotiation of contracts across technical, commercial and legal areas.
Graduate qualification (ideally Master Degree educated), (and / or) proven strategic sourcing and supplier management experience in Automotive, FMCG and / or Chemical procurement of at least 5 years.
Excellent functional Procurement experience managing portfolio across multiple geographies. Is able to include knowledge and experience of world-class portfolio management and sourcing practices.
Ability to operate effectively in different cultures and across geographies, including managing stakeholders and colleagues remotely (across distance and time zones).
Ability to balance total cost of ownership (TCO), strategic and tactical delivery.
Strong project and change management capabilities.
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
Experience of leading, motivating and developing people through difficult period / large change programs.
