Purchasing Coordinator

At PIA Automation Mexico, a global leader in industrial automation solutions, we are seeking a Purchasing & Supply Chain Coordinator to strengthen our operations and ensure optimal supplier management, material availability, and cost efficiency for our Monterrey site. Main Responsibilities: Coordinate all purchasing and supply chain activities for production and indirect materials. Lead supplier negotiations to secure best pricing, delivery times, and quality. Manage sourcing, purchasing orders, supplier evaluation, and contract updates. Handle imports, exports, customs processes, logistical coordination, and freight management. Monitor inventory levels, material planning, demand forecasting, and replenishment. Identify and implement cost‐reduction initiatives with suppliers and logistics partners. Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and global purchasing standards. Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Finance, and global PIA teams. Requirements & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field. 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain in manufacturing. Experience with imports, customs documentation, INCOTERMS, and logistics coordination. Strong negotiation skills and experience working with national and international suppliers. Knowledge of inventory control, MRP/ERP systems, and materials planning. Strong analytical, communication, and vendor‐management skills. Intermediate–advanced English.
