Summary:
The FP&A Analyst is part of the FP&A Center of Excellence (CoE) that Delinea is building in Mexico City to deliver standardized, scalable financial support on a global basis. Reporting to the Senior Manager, FP&A CoE, this person executes and maintains the recurring processes for headcount planning, expense budget vs. actual reporting, data integrity, and automation that underpin decision-making for Product, G&A, and GTM leaders.
This is an execution-focused role with a high bar for quality and accuracy: the Analyst applies the processes, controls, and templates defined by the CoE, identifies opportunities for improvement and automation, and helps build the Mexico City CoE's reputation as a trusted, IPO-grade partner to the broader organization.
What you ́ll do
· Support the headcount planning cycle (annual budget, quarterly re-forecasts, and monthly actuals) for assigned cost centers, under the Senior Manager's guidance.
· Consolidate and validate headcount data from Workday and Adaptive, ensuring consistency across sources prior to report publication.
· Prepare the monthly budget vs. actual (BvA) reports by cost center, pulling data from NetSuite and Adaptive.
· Support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) process by consolidating headcount and expense assumptions from cost center owners and FP&A pillars into the Adaptive planning model.
· Assist in building and maintaining driver-based templates for quarterly re-forecasts, updating assumptions and ensuring consistency with the latest actuals.
· Draft the first level of variance analysis and root-cause commentary for each FP&A pillar (Corp FP&A, Product & G&A, GTM), for the Senior Manager's review and validation.
· Support the monthly expense-reporting close cadence, ensuring deliverables are published within established timelines.
· Execute the periodic reconciliations across Workday, Adaptive, and NetSuite in line with the CoE's documented SOPs.
What you ́ll need
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
· 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, controllership, corporate finance, or financial analysis; experience in a center of excellence (CoE) or shared financial services environment is a plus.
· Experience supporting headcount and/or budget vs. actual (BvA) processes is desirable.
· Prior experience in a multinational environment or supporting stakeholders outside Mexico is a plus.
· Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data models).
· Experience with, or willingness to learn, Workday, Adaptive Planning, and NetSuite.
· Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI) and/or data platforms such as Snowflake is desirable.
· Interest and willingness to use AI tools (such as Claude) to automate and improve reporting processes.
· Strong attention to detail and rigor in handling financial data.
· Effective written and verbal communication skills to present financial information clearly. ·
