You'll work directly with business owners, helping them understand their financial performance while ensuring their accounting operations remain accurate, compliant, and organized. S. accounting experience, advanced QuickBooks skills, and experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously, this role is a strong fit. Multi-Client Accounting & Month-End Close Accounts payable (AP) Accounts receivable (AR) Bank and balance sheet reconciliations General ledger activities Prepare and review financial statements and supporting workpapers Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP Ensure client books remain clean, organized, and reporting-ready Manage multiple accounting deadlines without sacrificing accuracy Payroll & Compliance Process payroll accurately and on schedule Manage employee setup and onboarding within payroll systems Work with platforms such as: S. state sales tax returns Maintain supporting documentation for payroll and compliance requirements Ensure deadlines and regulatory requirements are consistently met Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare accurate financial reporting packages for clients Analyze financial performance and identify: Trends Risks Variances Opportunities Build custom reports and dashboards based on client needs Translate financial data into practical business insights Present financial information clearly to business owners and non-financial stakeholders Budgeting, Forecasting & Business Support Budgeting Forecasting Financial planning Analyze actual performance against expectations Help business owners understand the financial impact of operational decisions Provide proactive financial insights rather than simply reporting historical numbers Accounting Systems & Process Improvement Review existing accounting workflows and procedures Identify opportunities to improve: Efficiency Automation Accuracy Internal controls Document accounting processes and SOPs Help standardize workflows across multiple client engagements Improve scalability as the client portfolio grows Client Management & Communication Serve as a trusted accounting partner to business owners Manage financial communication across multiple client relationships Explain accounting concepts in clear, business-friendly language Respond promptly and professionally to client questions Proactively identify issues before they become larger problems Build client trust through accuracy, responsiveness, and strong financial ownership Requirements – Must Have Accounting Experience 5–10 years of accounting and finance experience Strong experience supporting GAAP Full-cycle accounting experience Proven experience with: Month-end close Financial reporting AP/AR Reconciliations General ledger accounting Payroll U.
