Sphise Technologies is a global outsourcing and talent solutions company, partnering with high-growth businesses to build strong, high-impact teams across finance, technology, and operations. We are currently looking to hire a Finance Manager to join a mid-sized company operating at scale.

About the Role

This is a hands-on finance role with a strong FP&A focus in a flat organization. The position requires a strong individual contributor who is comfortable owning financial analyses and reporting activities end to end.

We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, highly analytical, and action-driven , with the ability to support business decisions through clear and actionable financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain 3-statement financial models , with a strong understanding of how they flow together
  • Develop financial models and analyses from scratch, including ROI analysis and scenario modeling
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial review decks , clearly explaining business performance using financial storytelling, variance analysis, and waterfall analyses
  • Partner with finance leadership and business stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve revenue, margins, costs, and overall P&L performance
  • Support PE-related reporting and ad-hoc financial analyses
  • Help establish and improve FP&A best-practice processes in an evolving environment

Required Experience & Skills

  1. 4+ years of progressive Finance / FP&A experience , with hands-on experience in financial planning, modeling, forecasting, and analysis
  2. Experience within a Big Four firm and/or Fortune 500 company
  3. Experience in mid-sized companies is a strong plus
  4. Strong understanding of 3-statement financial modeling
  5. Advanced Excel skills (heavy modeling role; keyboard-driven workflows preferred)
  6. Experience creating executive-level PowerPoint presentations with clear financial narratives ( IBM Cognos / TM1 experience is a plus, Tableau experience is a plus, but Private Equity experience is highly preferred )
  7. Experience creating and maintaining dashboards, cleaning and validating data, and building data models across multiple data sources. Ability to support cross-database integrations and deliver actionable financial and business insights.
