We are seeking a skilled Back-End Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Back-End Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining server-side applications. Your responsibilities will revolve around developing robust and scalable solutions while ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize your expertise in software development to contribute to the design and implementation of back-end systems.
- Develop and maintain server-side logic using industry-leading languages like JavaScript (Node.js), Python or Java.
- Employ your knowledge of SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) to manage data effectively.
- Create and manage RESTful APIs, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of protocols and web services.
- Utilize relevant web frameworks such as Express.js (Node.js), Django/Flask (Python), or Spring (Java) to facilitate application development.
- Implement standard authentication and authorization protocols like OAuth and JWT for enhanced security measures.
- Proficiently use Git and version control systems to manage and track changes in the codebase.
- Demonstrate familiarity with cloud services, preferably AWS, and integrate them into the development process.
- Employ CI/CD tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo, or GitLab to ensure efficient development workflows.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development.
- Proficiency in at least one server-side language: JavaScript (Node.js), Python, or Java.
- Basic knowledge of SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and comprehensive understanding of protocol and web services.
- Familiarity with relevant web frameworks such as Express.js (Node.js), Django/Flask (Python), Spring (Java).
- Understanding of standard authentication and authorization protocols like OAuth and JWT.
- Proficient use of Git and version control systems.
- Familiarity with cloud services, preferably AWS , and utilization in development processes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like J enkins, TeamCity, Bamboo, or GitLab.
Desirable:
- Experience in building cross-platform apps for iOS, Android, and web.
- Ability to build applications from scratch.
