Medical Communication & Information Specialist Company: GMI (Mexico-based, Global Clients) For Mexico only Summary GMI is seeking a Medical Communication & Information Specialist to support global pharmaceutical clients by developing, reviewing, and approving scientific and medical content. This role partners closely with Medical, Legal, Regulatory, and Marketing teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and high-quality medical communications across promotional and non-promotional materials. Key Responsibilities Develop and review scientifically accurate, evidence-based medical content (slide decks, abstracts, posters, videos, infographics, medical information documents). Participate as a medical reviewer in MLR committees, ensuring compliance with regulatory and ethical standards. Review promotional and non-promotional materials for accuracy, balance, substantiation, and label compliance. Create and maintain medical information documents (SRs, Q&As, reactive decks) based on literature reviews. Conduct literature searches (PubMed, Embase), critically evaluate data, and summarize findings. Support medical affairs activities including congresses, launches, and key data releases. Respond to medical information inquiries from internal and external stakeholders following SOPs. Requirements Advanced degree in life sciences (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent). 2–3+ years of experience in medical communications, medical information, medical affairs, or pharmaceutical research. Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines for medical communications and promotion. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally in a global environment.
