Tandem Developer : Design, develop, and maintain backend components on HPE NonStop (Tandem), adhering strictly to change control practices, coding standards, and platform-specific performance considerations (I/O, locking, concurrency). Analyze and resolve complex defects in legacy systems, performing transaction traceability, fault diagnosis, and corrective adjustments with minimal impact to ensure data integrity and operational continuity. Implement and maintain integrations with external systems using available NonStop mechanisms (services, flat files, message queues, TCP/IP sockets, processes), guaranteeing data validation, error handling, and traceability. Query, tune, and adjust NonStop databases (SQL/MP, SQL/MX, Enscribe), optimizing queries, structures, and access paths to maintain optimal response times and stability under heavy transactional loads. Java/Kafka environments) to map core system data and business rules into canonical models for enterprise-wide use.
