Un Senior Manager de Preventa en la industria de TI (Tecnologías de la Información) desempeña un papel crucial en la estrategia de ventas y en la relación con los clientes. Descripción general de las funciones y responsabilidades de este puesto:

Entender las necesidades del cliente : El Senior Manager de Preventa debe comprender los procesos de negocio del cliente y las necesidades específicas. Esto implica identificar oportunidades o proyectos que puedan beneficiar al cliente.

Definir el alcance global : El Senior Manager de Preventa trabaja en la definición del alcance del proyecto. Esto incluye evaluar el estado actual (“as is”) y el estado deseado (“to be”), así como diseñar una arquitectura de alto nivel (por ejemplo, Torres de Servicio).

Gestionar oportunidades : El Senior Manager se especializa en sectores específicos, como gobierno, defensa, minería, servicios financieros, etc. Debe establecer modelos de negocio y casos iniciales para las oportunidades.

Relacionamiento con Multilaterales y otros órganos de financiación : El Senior Manager interactúa con organismos de financiación y multilaterales para asegurar el respaldo necesario para los proyectos.

Análisis de riesgos : Evalúa los riesgos legales, técnicos, financieros, organizativos y de terceros asociados con las oportunidades.

Dirigir el equipo de trabajo : Junto con el Account Manager, lidera el equipo de trabajo durante la fase de preventa. Esto incluye arquitectos de TI, especialistas de producto/servicio y otros roles.

Estructuración y presentación de la oferta : Define la estrategia y gestiona el proceso de estructuración y presentación de la oferta al cliente.

Business Case y riesgos : Construye, sigue y optimiza el Business Case de la oportunidad. También identifica y consolida los riesgos asociados con la propuesta.

Arquitectura técnica y diseño : Dirige los equipos para definir la arquitectura técnica (nivel bajo), funcional y operativa de la propuesta.

Planificación y entrega : Planifica el desarrollo de la propuesta al cliente para cumplir con plazos y condiciones.

Subcontratación y proveedores : Evalúa la necesidad de subcontratar terceros o proveedores y coordina con otras áreas.
