GENERAL FUNCTION The Total Rewards Specialist supports the design, administration, and implementation of the company's Compensation and Benefits programs for Operations in Mexico across multiple sites and business units. This role ensures that compensation and benefits practices are competitive, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals, while contributing to employee engagement and retention. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Support the administration of salary structures, incentive plans, and job evaluation systems. Participate in market benchmarking and salary survey processes to analyze competitiveness and recommend adjustments. Assist in the annual compensation review process, including merit increases and bonus calculations. Provide analytical support and prepare reports for audits, budgeting, and management decision-making. Maintain and update job descriptions and job grading documentation. Support the administration of employee benefits programs such as health insurance, life insurance, retirement plans, wellness initiatives, and other local benefits. Assist in evaluating benefit providers and managing vendor relationships to ensure effective service and cost efficiency. Coordinate open enrollment processes and ensure clear communication of benefit offerings to employees. Serve as a point of contact for employees, HR business partners, and managers regarding compensation and benefits inquiries. Collaborate with internal teams such as Payroll, Legal, and Compliance to ensure alignment and adherence to local regulations. Support expatriate and inpatriate benefits administration and related processes. Maintain accurate records and documentation for insurance policies and benefits programs. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in compensation and/or benefits administration. Fluent in Spanish and English. Solid understanding of compensation structures, benefits administration, and market analysis methodologies. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience working in a multinational or large-scale operational environment. Demonstrated ability to streamline and improve HR processes. Familiarity with job evaluation methodologies and HR systems (e.g., SAP, Workday).
