Key Responsibilities Conduct keyword research using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Keyword Planner. Develop and execute on-page SEO strategies , including metadata optimization, internal linking, schema markup, and content recommendations. Coordinate off-page SEO efforts , including link building, citations, guest posts, and digital PR. Audit websites for technical issues (Core Web Vitals, crawlability, indexing, etc.) and create actionable improvement plans. Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles (GMB/GBP) for local SEO clients. Collaborate with the content and web teams to ensure best practices are implemented site-wide. Track rankings, traffic, and conversions using Google Analytics, Search Console, and reporting dashboards. Prepare monthly SEO reports highlighting wins, issues, and next steps. Stay updated on Google algorithm changes and SEO trends. Requirements 2+ years of proven experience in SEO (agency experience preferred). Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO. Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, or Webflow CMS. Experience using SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GMB Everywhere, SurferSEO, etc.). Knowledge of Google Analytics 4 , Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager. Excellent written communication and attention to detail. Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines. Fluent in English (written and spoken). Nice to Have Experience with AI SEO tools (SurferSEO, NeuronWriter, or ChatGPT for content optimization). Background in local SEO for home services or healthcare clients. Basic understanding of HTML/CSS. Experience coordinating with remote teams via Basecamp or ClickUp.
