The Senior Analyst Finance responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the timely and accurate preparation and analysis of schedules and models related to financial reporting and planning. Additional responsibilities include adhoc requests prepared for the parent company, senior management and the Board of Directors.
Prepare timely, relevant and accurate reporting and analysis of Company Consolidated results against historical and plan information to facilitate decision-making by executive management and Board of Directors
develop strong relationships with the business leaders, and learn the business, to ensure a successful planning process and develop creditability
Super-user and administrator of the Business, Planning and Consolidation tool. Go-to person for training and ideas on how to utilize the tool to streamline our reporting and processes.
Collaborate with all departments including those outside of finance to support overall company goals and objectives;
Cross-train on all functions in the department and backfill Manager when out of the office.
Review of quarterly and yearly audit requirements including Sigma reporting package, quarterly trial balance, annual goodwill impairment for all relevant entities, and weighted average cost of inventory analysis; research and resolve IFRS/GAAP accounting inquiries;
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Economics, or Finance or related field
English - verbal and written.
2 to 3 years of relevant work experience in Finance, Strategic Administration or Public Accounting
Skilled in interpreting accounting guidance and applying it to business scenarios and authoring white papers.
Ability to develop relationships and apply business knowledge to analyses
Strong communication and computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Public accounting experience and active CPA license strongly
Possess an understanding of accounting principles, prior IFRS experience
This is a temporary position to cover a maternity leave, with an expected duration of 6 months.
