The Paint Process Engineer will be responsible for leading the definition, optimization, and supervision of coating and surface treatment processes. The position ensures high standards of quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance, collaborating with key areas of Production, Quality, and Maintenance. Main Responsibilities: • Define and standardize painting processes (preparation, application, and curing). • Ensure quality in thickness, adhesion, corrosion resistance, and aesthetic finish. • Analyze and resolve paint defects, implementing corrective actions. • Supervise preventive maintenance of painting equipment. • Collaborate with suppliers to evaluate new technologies. • Train and support painting operators. Requirements: • Degree in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. • 3 to 5 years of experience in industrial painting processes (manufacturing/metalworking). • Knowledge of liquid paint, powder coating, and electrostatic painting. • Familiarity with ISO 12944, ASTM D3359 standards, or other related standards. • Intermediate-advanced English (technical documentation and suppliers).
