Senior Commodity Lead

Johnson Electric is excited to announce a new opportunity in our Supply Chain team. This onsite position is in Zacatecas Mexico. We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Senior Commodity Lead to join our team. As a Senior Commodity Lead, you will play a critical role in managing our supply chain, optimizing costs, and ensuring the timely availability of high-quality materials.

Your Responsibilities Would Include:

Commodity Management

Supplier Management and Negotiations

Compliance with IATF16949 and ISO 9000 standards.

Risk Management and Compliance

Supplier Benchmarking and Consolidation

Our Requirements:

Local to Zacatecas, Mexico, or the ability/desire to relocate with paid relocation.

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, or a related discipline.

3+ years of purchasing and commodity management experience.

Business Level English and Spanish Language Skills

Would Be Advantageous:

Skillful in supplier development and management.

Familiarity with ERP systems and office software, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Familiarity with automotive industry quality requirements preferred.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.

Good organizational skills and ability to achieve deliverables on time.

Ability to work cooperatively with global counterparts.
