The Role As a Tax Associate, you will be part of the Tax team, providing technical and operational support to ensure proper determination, control, and reporting of taxes for the group's entities in Mexico. This role contributes to tax analysis, audit support, and special projects, ensuring compliance with current legislation and corporate tax policies. Key Responsibilities - Prepare, review, and monitor the determination and filing of federal, local, and international tax obligations for assigned entities, including direct and indirect taxes, withholdings, local taxes, and PTU. Prepare and submit applicable informative returns (DIOT, relevant operations, ISSIF, AML, transfer pricing, among others). Validate tax information from accounting and finance to ensure proper integration and consistency with accounting records. Review and prepare CFDIs (income, expense, payroll, payment, withholdings) according to Annex 20. Prepare supporting documentation and reconciliations for tax filings, returns, audits, and determination of tax attributes. Assist in handling tax requirements, audits, and reviews. Prepare analysis of current and deferred taxes and monitor changes in applicable tax legislation. Interact with external advisors and tax authorities for compliance and reporting purposes. Qualifications - Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Experience: 1–3 years in accounting and tax-related roles. Language: Intermediate to advanced English. Certifications: Basic tax certifications or equivalent courses. Core Competencies - Analytical thinking and tax judgment. Attention to detail and accuracy.
