Company Background Our client is a company that delivers integrated software and tools for the agricultural business. As part of a leading global software group, the company supports the diversified grain industry and agricultural co-ops with best-in-class solutions covering business management, commodity management, agronomy, trading, patronage, and analytics. Project Description The project focuses on owning the end-to-end data flow for the client's Data Analytics Platform (DAP). The platform ingests structured data (XML/JSON) into Azure Data Lake, orchestrates transformations using Azure Data Factory, and models curated data in Azure SQL Managed Instance with read-only replicas for reporting. Microsoft Azure Azure Data Factory (ADF v2) Azure SQL Managed Instance Build and maintain ADF pipelines to ingest XML/JSON data into ADLS Gen2, including schema mapping, cleansing, and incremental loads; Design and optimize data models in Azure SQL Managed Instance (indexes, partitioning, read-only replicas); Configure and test backup, geo-replication, and disaster recovery strategies (RPO/RTO); Automate infrastructure and deployments using Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipelines; Provision and support datasets for self-service BI and reporting; Implement monitoring, alerting, and cost-optimization dashboards; Continuously tune platform performance, reliability, and cost efficiency; 5+ years of experience designing and building data solutions on Microsoft Azure; 2+ years of hands-on experience with ADLS Gen2 and Azure Data Factory (ADF v2); Expert-level T-SQL skills and performance tuning on Azure SQL Managed Instance or SQL Server; Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep or Terraform) and CI/CD; Proven experience with backup, geo-replication, and disaster recovery in Azure; Familiarity with BI ecosystems (Power BI, Luzmo, Tableau) and provisioning datasets for self‐service reporting; Strong understanding of Azure security fundamentals (networking, managed identities, RBAC); Proven experience designing and optimizing data flows using Azure Synapse Analytics, including dedicated SQL pools and serverless querying; English level: Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP‐203) or higher; NET 6+/C# or Python for custom ADF activities or utility scripts; Experience with cost‐governance / FinOps in Azure; What Do
