CTG LATAM, a leading renewable energy company, is seeking a Technical Asset Manager to join its Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team in Mexico City. This role is responsible for ensuring the technical integrity, performance, and contractual compliance of the photovoltaic assets under management. The position acts as the technical counterpart between Corporate teams, Site Managers, and the O&M Contractor, strengthening technical governance, improving execution discipline, and providing hands-on technical oversight to support portfolio-level performance and decision-making. Key Responsibilities Technical Asset Oversight Act as the technical owner of PV plants at a corporate level. Maintain in-depth knowledge of plant design, equipment, operational limits, and performance expectations Ensure all technical activities comply with contractual obligations, OEM requirements, and industry best practices. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance Management Oversee the planning, execution, and effectiveness of Preventive Maintenance Activities (PAM). Ensure maintenance plans are properly scheduled, executed on time, and documented with adequate evidence. Monitor corrective maintenance activities, ensuring root causes are identified, corrective actions are technically sound, and recurring failures are escalated and resolved. Review maintenance records, failure reports, and KPIs to proactively identify risks and trends. O&M Contractor Management Serve as the technical authority in day-to-day interactions with the O&M contractor. Enforce compliance with contractual processes, timelines, maintenance procedures, and reporting requirements. Ensure effective closure of findings, punch lists, and corrective actions. Validate technical justifications and support technical inputs for contract amendments, claims, change orders, and performance evaluations. Site Coordination & Technical Support Work closely with Site Managers, providing technical support at the corporate level. Assist with technical decision-making, OEM recommendation interpretation, and resolution of complex or recurring issues. Ensure consistent technical criteria across all SPVs and sites. Facilitate effective communication between sites and corporate management. Performance Monitoring & Reporting Track and analyze key technical KPIs, including availability, Performance Ratio (PR), equipment failure rates, and maintenance backlog. Review weekly and monthly technical reports from Site Managers and the O&M contractor. Prepare consolidated technical reports for management, highlighting risks, deviations, required actions, and improvement opportunities. Root Cause Analysis & Technical Investigations Lead or coordinate Root Cause Analyses (RCA) for major or recurring failures. Interface with OEMs, independent engineers, and third-party consultants. Ensure RCA outcomes are translated into practical corrective and preventive actions. Compliance & Technical Governance Ensure compliance with O&M contracts, OEM warranties, grid code requirements, and internal technical standards. Maintain updated technical documentation, including maintenance plans, procedures, equipment status, and critical spare parts lists. Support audits, lender technical reviews, and independent engineer requests. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field (required). Experience 5–10 years of experience in Solar PV operations, maintenance, and technical asset management (required). Proven experience overseeing O&M contractors, preventive and corrective maintenance programs, and multi-site PV portfolios (required). Knowledge & Skills Strong knowledge of trackers, inverters, substations, and SCADA systems. Solid understanding of OEM documentation and warranty frameworks. Strong knowledge of PV plant design and operation. Experience applying Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies. Languages Advanced English proficiency (B2/C1).
