Job Description

You are responsible for a team of customer planners being in direct contact with the customer and the value stream. You ensure deliveries by analysing, confirming and scheduling demand in ERP systems.

You develop and follow the production plan based on customer demand.

You analyse the sales forecasts in alignment with the strategy of the Business Unit. Being the first level of escalation and ensuring a close collaboration with the entire value stream.

You are the first level of escalation together with your Group Leader in close collaboration with the planning area.

You act in line with inventory and expedite guidelines of the plant.

Detailed Description:

• Identify the source of the demand / type of client (Tier, OEM, Bosch) to ensure compliance with the specific requirements that each one requires (Type of transmission EDI, Incoterm, Collection frequency, etc.)

• Maintain 21 months of demand in the system, considering the customer's EDI, Sales forecast, and historical data

• Analyse deviations between forecast and actual sales

• Responsible to ensure the tracking of shipments from the departure of the unit until arrival to final destination (customer)

• Coordinate EOP to reduce obsolete risk in FG, WIP and RM.

• Ensure effectively and timely information to the client in case of bottlenecks caused by internal or external sources, offering delivery plans and alternatives to avoid negative affectations

• Provide explanations, proposals and reliable data based on what has been analysed to support inventory control decisions of the plant

• Identify areas of opportunity to improve business profitability and develop the corresponding measures

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree - Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Engineering, Economics, International Trade, etc.

Desired Master's Degree

Language:

  • English- Advanced level

Experience in leadership and customer planning, production planning or a similar role

> 5years

Technical Skills:

  • ERP (SAP). - Advanced
  • Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, Power BI) - Intermediate
  • Automation tools (ej. Catalytic) - Basic
  • Working Knowledge of in logistics and manufacturing- Advanced
  • Analytical understanding of processes
