The IoT Developer is responsible for shopfloor equipment connectivity in support of bringing smart factory solutions into reality. As an external candidate, you will be eligible for a signing bonus.

Develop new techniques to connect legacy equipment to modern infrastructure

Create IoT applications that run on-premise and in the cloud

Develop KPIs, metrics, and other monitoring tools to track I4.0 production environments

Work with source control tools (Confluence, GitHub, etc.)

Explain technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to a wide audience

Minimum 3 years of experience required in Automotive Manufacturing or equivalent

Practical experience with:

• RsLogix 5000
• Vision Systems Keyence, IFM, Cognex, Infaimon
• MIG and Spot Welding
• Welding controllers Lincoln, TRW, Rexroth, Medar.
• Industry 4.0 Projects

Excellent English skills (fluent in spoken and written)

Ability to prepare, read, write, and interpret written reports, procedures, instructions, and guidelines.

Work well with others; promoting and fostering positive employee relations.

Understanding MQTT , Relational Databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL) is a plus

Experience with Soft PLC (Codesys) is a plus
