Forvis Mazars Mexico is seeking an International Tax Senior to join our growing International Tax Services practice. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about cross-border taxation, technical problem-solving, and supporting multinational clients in navigating complex tax challenges. As an ITS Senior, your primary mission is to ensure that clients' international operations remain fully compliant with Mexican and global tax regulations while helping identify opportunities to optimize their overall tax position. You will contribute to high-impact projects such as: Applying tax treaties and the Multilateral Instrument to prevent double taxation Reviewing tax-efficient structures, including dividend decrees and cross-border reorganizations Supporting SAT audits, due diligence processes, and risk assessments Delivering technical analyses that provide clear, actionable insights for clients and leadership Prepare and review monthly and annual tax calculations, filings, and electronic reporting Support the analysis and application of Mexican tax law (LISR, LIVA, CFF) and international tax treaties Review equity transactions, dividend decrees, and cross-border tax structures Conduct tax research using global research tools (Checkpoint, Sisthemis) Draft high-quality technical memoranda and reports in English and Spanish Collaborate closely with managers and partners to ensure timely, accurate project delivery Provide guidance to junior staff and contribute to a high-performance team environment Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field ~4–6 years of experience in corporate tax, international tax, or related areas ~ Strong understanding of Mexican tax regulations and cross-border tax concepts ~ Proficiency with SAT systems (DIM/DEM/DIOT), CONTPAQi (or similar), and MS Office ~ Advanced English (written and verbal) is required An immediate incorporation into a multinational firm with a consolidated position in the audit, tax, and consulting market Opportunity to get international exposure as part of your professional development Training plan that will enable you to achieve the highest levels of technical excellence and leadership to build personalized and rewarding careers Supportive work environment, promoting a permanent culture of feedback Here, you grow with every project, every client, and every new learning opportunity that broadens your perspective and deepens your expertise.
