Our plant located in Puebla, MX is looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Traffic & Material Planning Regional Manager to join our team

The Traffic & Material Planning Regional Manager is responsible for ensuring material availability, resolving shortages, optimizing inventory via MRP, managing lifecycle to prevent obsolescence, monitoring packaging, coordinating transport, and implementing cost-saving improvements including pre-logistics analysis.

Improve logistics aligned with delivery, quality, and financial goals
Manage supplier/customer delivery issues and conflicts
Oversee product change compliance, costs, and price negotiations
Negotiate transport costs with providers and Corporate SCM
Report plant results and key indicators to Corporate Logistics
Plan Tier 2 material acquisitions and ensure subcomponent supply
Optimize inventory and prevent obsolescence
Control transport arrivals and manage pre-series material events
Escalate supply chain risks and coordinate corrective actions
Validate onboarding/training and ensure team performance
Promote SAS environmental system and compliance with VDA, IATF 16949, ISO 14001
Drive continuous improvement in safety, environment, process efficiency, and quality

Engineering background with logistics and material procurement exposure
~ Knowledge of MRP and SAP for material planning
~ Experience in supply chain management
~ Ability to perform pre-logistics cost analysis
