A DevOps Engineer is vital in fostering an agile and collaborative environment, emphasizing teamwork and a proactive attitude. You will be palying a significant role in supporting the team's efforts towards achieving its objectives, especially in environments that value adaptability, creativity, and inclusivity. Your responsibilities often involve assisting in the development and maintenance of critical systems, such as your Citrix environment, and contributing to the overall improvement and efficiency of processes through automation and support. You embody a culture of continuous learning and sharing, vital for the team's success and growth.

What you will be responsible for

Support in Development and Maintenance: You may not take primary responsibility as a senior would, you will significantly contribute to developing and maintaining essential systems, working closely under the guidance of more senior team members.

Active Engagement in Agile Processes: Participation in Scrum events, helping to define sprint goals and completion criteria under the guidance of more senior engineers.

Collaboration on Feature Refinement: Working alongside the product owner and engineering team to refine features, although you might take on less complex tasks than a senior.

Codebase Integrity and Maintenance: Assisting in maintaining the codebase, focusing on simpler bug fixes and maintenance tasks.

Contribution to Code Reviews: Engaging in code review processes, learning to formulate test scenarios, and providing constructive feedback.

Continuous Learning and Knowledge Sharing: Actively seeking personal growth opportunities and contributing to the team's knowledge sharing efforts.

Solutions Construction and Maintenance: Assisting in building and maintaining solutions with a focus on reliability, performance, and maintainability.

Technologies we use

PowerShell, Azure REST API, ARM/Bicep templates, Virtual Machines (VMs) and VM scale set, Azure DevOps Suite, Log Analytics, Windows OS & Active Directory. These will be essential in successfully deploying, managing, and optimizing SimCorp Dimension on the Azure cloud platform

What we value in our DevOps Engineer

Foundational Azure Skills: Solid understanding and skills in Azure, with a willingness to deepen knowledge in areas like Citrix DaaS, NetScaler solutions, and Azure configuration tools.

CI/CD Experience: Experience with CI/CD solutions, possibly less extensive than a senior but showing a strong foundation and eagerness to learn.

Automation Knowledge: An understanding of IT infrastructure automation, with some experience in automation for infrastructure provisioning and application deployment.

Technical Proficiency: Knowledgeable in key areas such as Azure DevOps, scripting with PowerShell and Python, and basics of networking and security.

Communication Skills: Effective communication and collaboration skills, critical for teamwork and service delivery.

Language Skills: Proficiency in English at a level that ensures effective communication in a diverse environment.

Other requirements

• Hybrid working arrangement (2x a week in office)
