Job Summary
The "Production Planning Supervisor" located in Guadalajara, North Campus, reporting to the Production Planning Manager.
Responsible for working with the materials and planning teams to ensure on time and efficient deliveries of final product, with zero downtime.
What a typical day looks like:
- Create daily production schedules.
- Ensure scheduling efficiency with the use of CTB (Clear to Build).
- Serve as liaison between material account manager and program teams in demand management.
- Work closely with production personnel on accountability and productivity issues.
- Ensure smooth transaction from manufacturing process to raw materials.
- Develop strategies and collaborate with operational teams on capacity and equipment utilization.
- Work closely with operations to ensure smooth flow from raw material to final product stage.
- Preparation of specific management and CFT reports.
- Follow up on WorkOrder.
- Purchase order management.
- Personnel training.
- Inventory management between different warehouses.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in the Metalworking Industry would be a plus.
- Experience in warehouse and shop floor logistics.
- Knowledge of Inventory, Kiteo and Cyclic counts.
- Experience in personnel management.
- Experience with supplier management.
- Advanced Excel.
- BAAN knowledge as a plus.
