CI intern

Danfoss Queretaro is looking for a Continuous improvement Intern. In this position you will support deployment and execution of the continuous improvement process and design and execute all infrastructure to support industrial engineer improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.

As CI Intern you will join a team of highly skilled and committed colleagues working closely together and acting as sparring partners for each other.

• Supports to design carts, conveyors and ergonomics working stations.  
• Responsible to maintain all plant visuals in good shape (boards, banners, charts) design and develop in house.
• Evaluates and assess ideas program (Kaizen blitz), by promoting the program, supporting deployment campaigns, generating information to manage the system across the site.
• Validate Cycle time by operations run times, operator and shifts.
•  Conduct the New hiring CI trainings.
• Support 5S program to generate (5S Audit calendar, share scores by areas and follow up close action).    
• Assume and motivate responsibility and accountability across the organization related with quality management system effectiveness
• Support to ensure quality management system requirements and resources are fully integrate and available within all business process. 
• Support and/or participate on Continuous Improvement Activities such as: Kaizen, Ideas Programs, cost out and/or demonstrate improvements in goals year over year in our processes or practices aligned to achieve or business goals and/objectives.

• Bachelor's degree or in process to obtain Industrial Engineering or similar
• Proficient on advanced analytical and cognitive skills.
• Advanced English
• Basic knowledge of AUTOCAD.
• Strong ethics and professional presence required.
• Negotiation skills and experience with suppliers.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Sense of urgency.
• Proactive and organized.
• Teamwork player.
