R&D Operations Technician

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum BSc degree or equivalent in Science/Engineering/Food Science/Technology or related subject area. 
  • 1-2 years of experience in a relevant field minimum – R&D, Value Stream/ Operations.
  • Statistical knowledge is preferred
  • MS Office is needed
  • Analytical skills, work & self -development, curiosity, problem solver oriented,

  • The R&D Operations Technician has the remit as the technical resource to execute radical material simplification process. This role executes lab analysis, risk analysis and development and scale-up for materials. This role partners with R&D (Product and Process Development and Factory Innovation), Commercial to address product quality, process efficiency, and/or quality management conformance issues SQA, MQM and Food Safety in order to execute effective risks analysis and making new ingredients implementation analysis. This role works on site Efficiency initiatives, to create new specifications for current ingredients in order to minimize bespoke materials and also developing, approving and ensuring multiple sourcing for materials. Thi role has extensive hazard analysis, lab analysis and factory implementation.

What will be your key responsibilities?
  • This person is responsible for implementing and supporting radical material simplification portfolio process in service of efficient manufacturing operations.   
  • It is the responsibility of the jobholder, working with the R&D teams (Factory innovation, SQA, SRA, Food Safety, Quality ), to build understanding of new processes , to identify optimization opportunities of ingredients and making recommendations to R&D for changes in specifications where justified.    
  • This role should execute lab prototypes, executed analysis risk approached and according to it, develop sensory round tables, and operational trials until ensure flawless execution for new ingredients
