We are looking to hire an Environmental Coordinator to join our team at El Marqués, Querétaro

 

Position Summary

Environmental Coordinator ensures legal compliance in environmental matters, managing the management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste and contributing to the reduction of electricity, water, and waste consumption. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the Environmental Management System (EMS) requirements are established, implemented and maintained in accordance with ISO14001
  • Waste administration and management
  • Compliance with Legal Requirements (COA, Environmental License, etc.)
  • Knowledge of requirements of environmental authorities (PROFEPA, SEMARNAT, SEDESU)
  • Support in conducting industrial hygiene surveys for air, noise, and collecting samples for analysis.
  • Lead legal compliance audits
  • Environmental Committee
  • Implementation of projects to reduce energy, water and waste generation consumption.
  • Management and Administration of Contractors
  • Understand, support, implement, and enforce compliance to all company and governmental agencies safety and environmental policies, procedures, and regulations.

 

Qualifications:

  • ISO 14001 certification.
  • 5 years Advanced knowledge on Legal Requirements.
  • Sustainability Projects knowledge.
  • 3 years Knowledge of requirements of environmental authorities (PROFEPA, SEMARNAT, SEDESU)
  • Conversational/ Advance English.
