General Ledger & Financial Reporting Coordinator

What awaits you?
• As a meticulous and detail-oriented financial professional, your responsibilities will encompass overseeing and managing General Ledger financial processes. You will spearhead the Month End closing process, ensuring timely and accurate completion, and prepare comprehensive financial statements that reflect the company's financial health. Additionally, you will develop and maintain accurate balance sheet projections, providing valuable insights into future financial performance.
• Your expertise will extend to collaborating with internal and external auditors to maintain financial compliance, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations and standards. You will assume responsibility for all HR-related postings, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records. Your actuarial skills will be utilized to conduct actuarial valuations of pension provisions and seniority premiums, safeguarding the company's financial future.
• Your unwavering commitment to accuracy and efficiency will be evident as you ensure the successful implementation of projects within your assigned area of accountability. You will maintain statutory accounting records, upholding the integrity of the company's financial data. Your adherence to IFRS, local GAAP, and BMW Group internal requirements for Corporate Reporting and Accounting will ensure transparency and compliance. Furthermore, you will implement and enforce internal control measures, risk management strategies, and value-added production systems, leading the development of processes that emphasize internal controls, safeguarding the company's financial assets and reputation.

What should you bring along?
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 5+ years in General Ledger Accounting.
• Thorough understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data and identify trends.
• Experience in corporate accounting, including financial reporting and statutory compliance.
• In-depth knowledge of GL financial processes and the related IT landscape.
• Expertise in practical GL processes, process design, and documentation.
• Familiarity with internal control structures, internal and external audit procedures, and process management.
• Analytical thinking and proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong personal work management and decision-making skills.
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities.
• Fluent in English.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP systems.
• Understanding of production processes, preferably in the automotive industry.
