  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field, and 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new, complex development environments with deep dive analytical skills.
  • Proficient with Java, Scala and JVM.
  • Proficiency with relational data stores.
  • Passion for building resilient backend platforms.
  • Eager to learn, while exhibiting a positive attitude

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Kafka and Akka
  • Understanding of cryptography, security, and data privacy
  • Experience building distributed highly scalable hosted (SaaS) solutions
  • Experience developing for Continuous Deployment on AWS, GCP or similar
  • Development environment: git, Collaborator, SBT, Docker, IntelliJ, Artifactory, Jenkins
  • Knowledge of Apple's APNS, Google's FCM and Twilio.

We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer, Distributed Systems (Cloud) to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development and maintenance of Cloud Platform Infrastructure for web Single Sign-On (SSO), Cloud Token Service and Identity Access Management capabilities.

Job Summary

In the role of a Senior Software Engineer, you will assume a pivotal position in shaping the architecture, design, and development of a cloud native, multi tenant SaaS (Software as a Service) cloud platform. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders will be a key aspect of your work to develop resilient, dependable, and high-performant software. Your proficiency in cloud-native technologies, microservices, and cloud platforms will be a cornerstone of our achievements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Fully participate in the architecture, design and implementation of our highly scalable hosted (SaaS) solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Release Delivery, Customer Support and other groups towards developing the most optimal solutions and troubleshooting issues.
  • Practice modern agile software development practices that deliver high quality code: continuous integration, test, deployment practices and tool sets.
  • Validate technical designs against business requirements and architecture
  • Do code reviews and approval of pull requests in Git
  • Communicate with other teams/leads
