This role is key in leading technical and administrative aspects of payment coordination for E3S systems and processes related to Healthcare Professionals (HCP) and external experts (EE). You will ensure accurate and compliant processing of payments in accordance with policies, procedures, regulations, and transparency/disclosure reporting requirements. Accountabilities:
As a Transactions Specialist, you will engage with external stakeholders in compliance with AstraZeneca SOP’s, execute prompt and timely payments to EE’s and Patients, initiate the process for reimbursing the External Expert for services, work with the Business Engagement Owner and/or Medical Communications agency to collect relevant data and documents, prepare and submit payment request for processing by Finance, use and maintain payment templates and tools, maintain data integrity in Salesforce, ePay, DocuSign systems and lead timely delivery and resolution of ad hoc queries from External Experts, customers and other partners.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or experience
- First experience in Accounts Payable or Account Receivables
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database management
- Solid understanding of SAP
- Positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- High ethical standards; trustworthy; operate with absolute discretion
