Job Summary
We are looking for someone who is driven and eager to make a meaningful contribution to HP’s commitment to privacy. The role is part of a diverse team that reports today to HP’s Director of Privacy Engagement within HP’s Trust and Privacy Office under the Legal organization. The Trust and Privacy Office leads company strategy, policies and assurance for trusted and compliant digital experiences and personal data use. We partner closely with teams across the company from marketing, sales, developers, and employee management roles.

This role is crucial to maintaining privacy accountability for HP worldwide and has a direct influence in helping educate and support employees on the importance and value of privacy risk reviews and retaining the quality of information collected from these. It requires a laser focused, detail oriented, articulate privacy professional highly motivated to contribute and grow within a complex area of emerging importance.


Responsibilities
• Collaborate and assist HP employees to navigate the privacy risk review process.

• Perform privacy triage of incoming requests for privacy risk reviews.

• Enable documentation of personal data process flows.

• Maintain the quality of privacy inventories across systems that process personal data, third parties and data processing activities.

• Review and identify opportunities to improve privacy operations.

• Assist, at the direction of Privacy leadership, with activities related to the implementation and operation of the HP Privacy Program.

• Implements and designs portions of quality performance indicators, tools and processes for data collection, analysis and reporting for quality management and continuous improvement of products or solutions for a customer segment or business unit.

Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

• 1.5+ years of privacy experience (i.e. principles, best practices, general risks, etc.)

• Certifications such as CIPP-E, CIPP-C and/or CIPP-US or willingness to work towards certifications and ability to obtain certification within first year of employment.

• Familiar with OneTrust data mapping module (e.g. inventories, assessments, etc.), OT certifications preferred.

• Experience with Microsoft Windows, Office 365.

• Able to work autonomously and seek guidance when necessary.

• Organized, responsive, and persistent with good follow-through, customer service oriented.

• Maintains a strong work ethic and a high degree of accountability.

• Comfortable with ambiguity.

• Adaptable to change as business needs and privacy laws pivot.

• Strong verbal, written skills demonstrating diplomacy, credibility and confidence.

• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to influence without authority.

• Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills.
