Danfoss Mexico is looking for a Credit Analyst for our Apodaca Plant. In this role you will monitor customer accounts, track and address open items, overdue receivables and arrange their settlement. You will make regular calls with external customers and develop relationships internally and externally to provide support to Customer Service and Sales.
Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Following up and communicate with internal and external customers to ensure prompt and on-time payment of receivables and resolution of disputed open items.
- Making decisions about release of blocked orders.
- Assessing credit risk and performing creditworthiness analysis of the customers, to make decisions about order releases, as well as credit limits in accordance with delegation of power.
- Maintaining accurate credit data and collection files as well as maintaining electronic collection notes for each customer account and take mitigating actions to avoid past due invoices.
- Follow up on disputes with Customer Service & Sales team to reduce impact on collection.
- Identifying root causes of issues that cause receivable aging. Report findings to the management and suggest & perform possible courses of action to remedy.
- Provide training of new credit team members and others as needed.
- Analyse process and procedures to make recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Possibility to collaborate in design and implementation of processes to improve efficiency.

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
- Education preferably in the area of Economy, International Business or Accounting
- At least 2 years of experience at similar role.
- Strong in business writing and in professional communication with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Positive “can do” attitude well knowing the value of cooperating and managing challenges as a team.
- Basic MS Office knowledge with more advanced Excel level
- Experience with SAP, and if S4/Hana an additional advantage for this role.
- Strategic thinking demonstrating effective evaluation and problem-solving skills.
- Engaging customer centric approach securing positive relation building and persistent commitment to resolve disputed items.
- Ability to apply basic accounting principles in the interpretation of customer financial statements (preferred and not mandatory)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks within demanding timelines and an occasionally stressful environment.
- Follow defined strategy to ensure goals are met and exceeded.
- English language: fluent verbal and written – any additional language (intermediate level) will be a benefit.
