Responsibilities:
Be part of an inclusive, collaborative team that embraces pairing, healthy discussions and supports each other in their goals
Collaborate with cross functional teams on new and emerging technologies, determining how they will integrate into current and evolving infrastructure
Unblock, support and effectively communicate cross functionally in order to achieve results
Help define the team roadmap and architecture based on technology and business needs
Evangelize appropriate tech and engineering best practices, and occasionally give internal or external tech talks
Leave the code in a better state than when you found it (progressive refactor)
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge

Experience:
Must have 7+ years of software engineering industry experience
Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML
Experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks, like React
Experience working with NodeJS and Express applications
Experience working with design systems (e.g. Bootstrap, Salesforce Lightning, GitHub Primer)
Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
Experience defining architecture based on technology and business needs
Experience designing a team’s roadmap by proposing ideas, providing estimates, and working on prioritization
Experience working cross-functionally with Product and Design
Good understanding of web performance and how browsers and DOM work
This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule if an established Lyft Location is available to the Mexico City region — Hybrid Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.

Irse a casa sabiendo que el trabajo del día es importante para mejorar la vida de los conductores y pasajeros de Lyft
Experiencia:
+7 Años de expedición en industria de Desarrollo de Software
Conocimiento avanzado de JavaScript, CSS y HTML
Experiencia trabajando con frameworks modernos de JavaScript como React
Experiencia trabajando con aplicaciones en NodeJS y Express
Experiencia trabajando con sistemas de diseño (ej. Bootstrap, Salesforce Lightning, GitHub Premier)
Experiencia con pruebas unitarias, de integración y end-to-end
Experiencia definiendo arquitectura basada en la tecnología y las necesidades del negocio.
Experiencia diseñando la hoja de ruta de un equipo proponiendo ideas, proporcionando estimaciones y trabajando en la priorización.
Experiencia trabajando con equipos interfuncionales de Producto y Diseño
Buen entendimiento de desempeño web y como funcionan distintos navegadores y DOM
Este puesto se realizará en la oficina en un horario híbrido si una ubicación de Lyft establecida está disponible en la región de la Ciudad de México. Se espera que los miembros del equipo híbrido trabajen en la oficina 3 días a la semana, los lunes, jueves y un tercer día específico para el equipo. Además, los roles híbridos tienen la flexibilidad de trabajar desde cualquier lugar durante 4 semanas al año.
