POSITION OBJECTIVE

• The Robotic Engineer objective is to assure project execution is made comlying with the scope and quality standards defined. Will support and execute projects related to automation, control architecture and robotics. Also act as the expert on Robotic, control and electronics Engenniering field supporting the decition making process for the project team and other stakeholders..

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prioritize all H&S requirements and standards (national, coorporate and international always choosing the must rigorous one) on his or her designs, executions and installations.
• Sourcing and procurement of equipment related to robotic, automation, control and electronics.
• Conceptualize, design and select robotic, control and electronic equipment to reach the project scope, budget and quality.
• Lead FAT and site tests for robotics, control and electronic portions of equipments or projects.
• Lead and assure installation of new equipments related to robotics, control and electronics are done properly and complying with the scope and quality defined.
• Work in conjunction with the Manufacturing Automation & Technologies team in Valcourt to develop new ways and technologies to implement in BRP Qro and/or BRP Mexico facilities.
• Design and program accurate simulations for the different equipments that apply in order to support the decision making process.
• Assure a flawless and well documented transfer of the equipments and services to the final costumer (i.e but not limited to maintenance, production, RAM, IE, IM).
• Any other duties or responsibilities agreed between the Sr. Robotic Engineer and the Project Coordinator.
• Follow BRP values and behaviors.
• Ensure a safe working environment and take full accountability for all safety related topics.
• Enforce Quality BRP policy.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Zero Accidents or incidents during the project.
• Risk assestment mitigation plan in place and risks under control.
• Quality validation according with the control plan for FAT and OAT.
• Bidding processes complience with BRP Sourcing and Procurment policies.
• Deliver assigned task complying with the agreed: scope, budget, schedule and quality.
• Stakeholders feedback.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Robotic / control engineering or similar 

Experience:

• Min. 5 years of relevant experience in similar role.  

Language:

• Fluent in Spanish  written and verbal.
• English written and verbal (Min: 80%).
• Knowledge of French or German is an advantage
