About the role

The Digital Marketing Strategist role is an extremely advanced role in the development and implementation of digital programs and campaigns in a supporting manner to internal partners regarding the digital execution of vendor campaigns. The Digital Marketing Strategist executes digital marketing efforts, optimizes the user experience throughout the sales cycle, increases marketing effectiveness, improves customer satisfaction and amplifies the TD SYNNEX brand. Builds brand engagement, drives qualified and relevant traffic, and derives consumer insights to help optimize strategies from online campaign performance. Maintains an expert level knowledge of tools, principles, theories and concepts in area of professional expertise. Maintains extremely high level of competence in job functions and has general understanding of the industry practices, techniques and standards. Develops solutions to a wide variety of problems and works on projects requiring evaluation and analysis. May develop policies, practices and precedents for guidance and determines best course of action to achieve results. Work is performed independently requiring judgment, discretion and decision making with minimal direction. Work may be reviewed for overall adequacy. Represents organization as an authority or subject matter expert on multiple aspects of digital marketing. Interacts with management and professionals within department and other parts of the organization. May represent department externally on projects. Actions impact the success of the overall department and sometimes the organization. Failure to accomplish work or erroneous decisions will result in delays to projects, loss of revenue or allocation of additional resources to remedy. Such activities may include the following as well as other duties as assigned:

What You'll Do

  • Strategize, create, optimize, execute digital marketing campaigns, manages platforms for online promotional campaigns in diverse categories of advanced digital implementation including web design, digital advertising, email marketing, e-merchandising, online learning, digital video, digital online broadcast (webinars and live stream), online content management and other related digital marketing areas. Creates and implements digital marketing assets and performs other marketing activities to meet business objectives and revenue goals. Manages digital content, content procurement, development, and content posting activities. Demonstrates an advanced knowledge of marketing in channel distribution and applies knowledge to digital campaign planning. (20%)

  • Maintains brand standards or TD SYNNEX and its vendor partners. Consults with stakeholders and leads design teams for digital specifications and user experience. Reviews and edits all incoming content to ensure product consistency, spelling, pricing, promotional or launch materials meet specified requirements and parameters, translations, etc.  (10%)

  • Optimizes and improves strategic digital marketing activities by recommending advanced traffic building strategies. Supports marketing in driving traffic to attract and convert new customers, gain user adoption, and increase on-line sales. Develops reporting, measures, analyzes, tests, implements strategies to make incremental change, advocates continual improvement in digital marketing analytics. (15%)

  • Develops advanced/integrated marketing programs, is active in the development of new digital marketing deliverables and may be involved in annual planning. May conduct internal audits of marketing deliverables, external vendor RFIâs or develop proposals as needed. May lead in the development of new marketing projects, platforms, dashboards, or customer facing tools.  (5%)

  • Conducts TD SYNNEX associate training and presentations in area of expertise. Participates in the development and amplification of skills or act as a mentor to other digital marketing specialists.   (5%)

  • Maintains current market standards and possesses the capability to set new market trends. Consults on best-of-class deliverables and strategies, tools and processes internationally across regions and businesses. (10%)

  • Tracks, collects, analyzes and reports data, identifies trends and insights and evaluates results to achieve maximum ROI for on-site campaigns.  (5%)

What We're Looking For

Experience:

  • 5 to 8 Years of relevant work experience.

Education & Certifications:

  • Master's / Postgraduate Degree with Marketing or Communications Field of Study preferred.

  • Bachelor's Degree required.

  • Other Education / Certifications: Has expert level working experience, with Bachelorâs or Masterâs or equivalent. Has advanced experience in digital marketing and possesses advanced certifications, or advanced skills relevant to area of expertise. Has an expert knowledge of multiple digital marketing platforms and must have expert experience in two or more areas of digital implementation (Email marketing, web development. online education, e-merchandising/e-commerce, analytics).

Working Conditions:

  • Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.

  • On-call availability required as necessary.

  • Professional, office environment.

  • Some travel required.
