As a Mfg. Engineer youâll be responsible for:

  • This role is responsible for the optimization of the maintenance process as well as focused improvements of the equipment.
  • Plan, design and/or co-ordinate engineering projects related to the improvement of the production capacity, quality and/or efficiencies.
  • Troubleshooting of the (most) complex and/or repetitive equipment problems î§ Keeps abreast of technical developments in own field through literature, technical contacts and industry competition.
  • Maintain and improve line performance with regards to planned and unplanned downtime.
  • Solving complex electrical or mechanical breakdowns on equipment/production.
  • Responsible for maintenance costs, reporting maintenance indicators î§ Responsible for keeping maintenance and machines documentation up to date î§ Monitors production equipment, so it functions according to HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment and Quality) procedures and legislation, to prevent accidents, physical harm and environmental damage.
  • Participate and/or lead improvement projects, coordinates 3rd party service providers.

  • Maintenance costs, AM/PM adherence.
  • Number of TRCâs (Total Recordable Cases) (safety).
  • Machine safety compliance.
  • Project according to agreed milestone planning and within budget.
  • Competence Building Metrics

Your qualifications
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering skills incl machine safety and ergonomics.
  • Drives Operational Excellence, Lean methods and tools.
  • Deep understanding of continuous improvement.
  • Problem-solving capability.
  • Communication and reporting skills, networking, interaction with senior level.
  • Leadership and coaching skills.
  • Project management techniques
  • Must be fluent in Spanish/English
