SMT Manager

We are a leading multinational company located in Celaya, actively seeking the next SMT Manager with expertise in the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

The SMT Manager will play a pivotal role in continuous improvement and efficient maintenance of the manufacturing process, ensuring technical equipment availability across all shifts. With a solid 5-year experience in SMT, this professional will lead both predictive and corrective maintenance efforts, working towards process optimization to enhance efficiency and achieve key performance indicators in the value chain, such as IDC, FOR, and downtime.

Specific Responsibilities for SMT Manager:

1. Develop procedures, instructions, and training materials for effective implementation of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
2. Ensure compliance with objectives related to technical availability, cycle time, and defect costs.
3. Actively participate in processes from equipment definition to installation.
4. Adhere to Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) timelines, including EWAK runs, Pre-PV's, PV, and SOP.
5. Define and implement TPM, scheduling, and training activities, ensuring continuous process improvement.
6. Establish the Single-Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED) process for quick changeover standards.

Requirements:

1. University degree in mechatronics, electromechanics, or electronics.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in SMT, with in-depth knowledge of solder paste printing, placement, vision systems, and baking.
3. Strong knowledge of TPM, problem-solving, and statistical process control is highly desirable.
