Responsibilities

Calificaciones:

Titulo universitario y licencia para ejercer la abogacia en Mexico. Minimo de 5 anos de experiencia. Experiencia y conocimientos en derecho contractual: debe ser capaz de redactar, revisar y negociar una variedad de contratos comerciales, incluyendo contratos de servicios con companias privadas y del gobierno, proveedores, compraventa, arrendamiento, distribucion, y otros acuerdos comerciales. Experiencia y conocimientos en derecho mercantil: debe tener entendimiento de las leyes y regulaciones comerciales que afectan a las empresas, incluyendo contratos comerciales, derecho de sociedades, derecho cambiario, competencia economica y propiedad intelectual. Experiencia y conocimientos en derecho laboral: debe estar familiarizado con las leyes y regulaciones laborales aplicables, incluyendo contratos laborales, seguridad laboral, relaciones laborales, negociacion colectiva y resolucion de conflictos laborales. Experiencia en manejo de disputas y litigios: debe ser capaz de analizar situaciones complejas y desarrollar estrategias legales efectivas para proteger los intereses de la empresa y resolver conflictos de manera favorable, llevando a cabo, cuando necesario, acciones legales con el soporte de despachos de abogados tercerizados. Habilidades personales: Debe adherirse a los mas altos estandares eticos y de integridad en todas sus actividades profesionales, asegurando el cumplimiento de todas las leyes y regulaciones pertinentes. Debe ser capaz de analizar situaciones complejas, identificar riesgos legales y desarrollar estrategias para mitigarlos de manera efectiva. Debe tener habilidades de comunicacion solidas, tanto verbalmente como por escrito, para interactuar con clientes, colegas, autoridades regulatorias y otras partes interesadas. Debe tener una actitud proactiva hacia el aprendizaje continuo y este abierto a adquirir nuevas habilidades y conocimientos. Debe tener habilidades de adaptarse rapidamente a los cambios y trabajar de manera efectiva en entornos de alta presion.
Se valorara:

Conocimientos en transacciones comerciales y contratos de servicios petroleros. Conocimiento de las regulaciones y leyes relacionadas con la industria petrolera en Mexico. Conocimientos en derecho ambiental: dada la creciente importancia de la sostenibilidad y la responsabilidad corporativa, debe tener una comprension de las leyes y regulaciones ambientales que afectan a las empresas, incluyendo permisos ambientales, manejo de residuos, impacto ambiental y cumplimiento normativo.

Qualifications

Weatherford esta buscando contratar a un asesor legal comercial en Mexico. El objetivo principal es proporcionar servicios legales generales a los equipos comerciales y operativos de Mexico, manteniendo la coherencia con los principios de riesgo, las politicas internas y la ley aplicable de Weatherford.

Las responsabilidades incluyen, pero no se limitan a:
Revision de contratos y negociaciones con clientes y proveedores. Garantizar la aprobacion y ejecucion adecuadas de las transacciones de acuerdo con las politicas y procedimientos globales de Weatherford. Ayuda en el analisis y respuesta a disputas no legales de los clientes. Proporcionar asesoramiento al personal comercial de Weatherford, incluida la gerencia. Ayudar a las diferentes lineas de productos a garantizar el cumplimiento de las politicas y protocolos de Weatherford. Supervisar disputas y litigios, incluida la contratacion y gestion de abogados externos. Ayudar en las actividades requeridas asesorado por un abogado interno y externo segun lo indique la gerencia legal corporativa de Weatherford. Capacitar al personal de Weatherford con respecto a las asignaciones de riesgos y/o los protocolos de transacciones. Dirigir al personal juridico interno en la ejecucion de sus funciones asignadas. Asegurar y ayudar en la gestion, el mantenimiento y el archivo de la base de datos de contratos. Generar informes segun sea necesario para el departamento legal corporativo de Weatherford y/o la gerencia comercial.
