The Procurement team “Logistic Services” within Procurement Indirects at Beiersdorf Group is an international team of Global Category Managers covering spend categories for Logistic Services, 
e.g. Warehousing, Inbound Transportation, Outbound Transportation, Seafreight, Airfreight. The team will be located in Hamburg, Mexico City and another city in Asia and is responsible to steer 
Procurement of demands in these categories on Global scale working together with Management Units, Production Centers and our Regions. The logistics market is a very dynamic market 
requiring a high level of agility whilst pursuing the realization of our strategy. We require strategic procurement skills for professional spend category management as well as strong project 
management skills. For this diverse team we are currently searching a team member in the role as Jr Global Category Manager Logistic Services (all genders).

Your Tasks

• In this position you are responsible for the definition & deployment of global spend category strategies, SC roadmap and Project Procurement strategies within Logistic Services
• You are responsible for market observations and studies, to drive conclusions improving Beiersdorf´s strategies and decision making
• You are responsible to steer the source-to-contract process for your area of responsibility which includes tender preparation and execution, negotiation, contracting
• You are responsible for active management of supplier relationships and contracts for the spend in your area of responsibility with the target to maximize the Procurement value contribution leveraging the full range of options available in the market.
• You are responsible for the compliance with Procurement Policy, methods and standards within your area of responsibility
• You are responsible for the Demand Owner and Stakeholder Management in your area of responsibility
• You are contributing of the standardization and continuous improvement of methods and processes
• You are contributing to the processes of financial planning (ABP, Forecasts) in your area of responsibility

Your Profile

• Master's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or other relevant major
• Several years of work experience in relevant industries and ideally a few years of proven track record in Procurement or Logistic Services 
• Professional Procurement expertise; experience in global spend category management and project management
• Strength in stakeholder management along with strong communication skills
• Cross-functional experience as well as international experience are an advantage
• Analytical skills and target-oriented working methods
• Very good knowledge of MS Office, SAP, e-tendering, S2C-/ P2P-processes
• Fluent English mandatory, German is very helpful as well as other languages
