Job Overview TE Connectivity's Manufacturing Engineering Teams are process leaders for stamping, molding or assembly related topics, ensuring the processes are running at optimum levels for quality and output. They are experts in mold tooling, die tooling, machining, and assembly techniques, possessing extensive knowledge of the associated manufacturing processes which may include the optimization and standardization of stamping / molding / assembly or other processes within the manufacturing environment. Manufacturing Engineering Teams enable the TE business unit plants to reach TE Operating Advantage (TEOA) requirements, roll out Centers of Excellence (COE), Best Demonstrated Practices (BDP’s) and advise plants on tool and machine duplications / corrections / improvements. They design and develop manufacturing process and automation platforms and apply them for the realization of new product developments as well as optimization of existing products already in production. The Teams also support Product Development in the selection and optimization of tools for piece part production and the selection of the most suitable manufacturing concepts relative to planned manufacturing quantities, quality requirements and manufacturing location. They act as interface between engineering and production to ensure manufacturability of new designs and smooth production ramp up as well as support the research & development teams to produce sample manufacturing equipment, product samples and prototypes.What your background should look like:

Tareas y Responsabilidades:

  • Responsable de participar en el Diseño y Desarrollo de herramientas y procesos de moldes para apoyar el desarrollo de nuevos productos*
  • Soporte en el desarrollo del producto, en los diseños de optimización de fabricación, muestreo de tooling, muestras de productos y prototipos. Determina los conceptos de fabricación del herramental más adecuadas relacionadas con las* cantidades previstas de fabricación, requisitos de calidad y lugar de fabricación.
  • Responsable de dar de alta de componentes críticos de los moldes de inyección de plástico en el área de tool crib
  • Dar soporte trabajar con el equipo de ingeniería en los FMEA, proyectos, lanzamientos, para la optimización y mejoría en el proceso en el área de moldeo.
  • Responsable de proveer la información y documentación para la activación de moldes de inyección de plástico para los sistemas como SAP, Hydra, etc. Para su producción y mantenimientos de estos.
  • Participación en los Programas de Mejoramiento Continuo de la Planta.
  • Soporte en analizar capacidades de herramienta y equipo para nuevos números de parte y cambios en volúmenes cotizados.
  • Responsable en brindar soporte al área de machine Shop
  • Responsable en brindar soporte al diseñador para el control de planos en 2D y 3D
  • Participa en realizar análisis de producto / proceso para la reducción de costes, mejora de la calidad y la mejora de la eficiencia.
  • Realiza acciones para reducción al impacto ambiental, así como actividades para el cumplimiento de la norma de ISO14001.
  • Mantener y mejorar continuamente el sistema de gestión ambiental 

 

Requerimiento

  • Ing. Mecánica / Mecatrónica / O Afin
  • 3-5 años en puesto similar como mínimo
  • Manejo de personal

 

Conocimientos Específicos y habilidades

  • Manejo de software de diseño (CAD) Creo (Pro-E), SolidsWorks, Space Claim, AutoCad, CATIA, preferentemente*
  • Manejo de Software de maquinado (CAM) Creo ProNC, Mastercam, SolidCam preferentemente
  • Manejo de software de simulación (CAE) de llenado de plástico. Moldflow, Autodesk moldflow, (ANSYS). 
  • Conocimientos básicos en procesos de moldeo de inyección de plásticos
  • Buen conocimiento en la fabricación de herramientas, acero para herramientas de aplicación / selección, tratamiento térmico, y en plating/coating*
  • Fuerte comprensión de la teología del polímero, en particular, la de resinas de grado de ingeniería.
  • Conocimiento de moldeo por inyección Científico y / o Certificación Mastermolding. Deseable.
  • Conocimientos en los principios de Six Sigma y LEAN (TEOA)*
  • Conocimientos en tolerancias geométricas
  • Habilidad para buena gestión de proyectos, capacidad para trabajar con varios proyectos a la vez
  • Entender las prácticas, la terminología y las tolerancias asociadas con la fabricación, mecanizado, rectificado, electroerosión por hilo de fundición, etc.
  • Disponibilidad para viajar (25% del tiempo)
  • Manejo de paquetería office.
  • Conocimientos en SAP
  • Ejercer liderazgo efectivo. Realización de proyectos.
  • Lectura de reportes especializados (jornadas científicas y técnicas, legales)
  • Ingles Intermedio - Avanzado 85%
