Job Description

Zendesk is looking for a detail oriented Digital Marketing Specialist, Paid Search, to join the Performance Marketing team to execute our paid search strategy, delivering on high-performing initiatives to improve the return on our marketing investment and grow leads and revenue from paid search campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of highly-skilled performance marketers with a proven track record of running complex global campaigns for multiple products and audiences in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, deadline driven, and highly analytical, and who is excited by the challenge to deliver on and optimize our paid search program as part of a global Performance Marketing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on management and optimization of search campaigns

  • Day-to-day campaign bid management and execution of tactics across multiple search engines (e.g. Google, Bing, etc.) to exceed goals and maximize return on ad spend

  • Partner with the teams in regions to adjust the campaign to the local context and maximize relevance

  • Support new product launches and promotions through new copy and messaging

  • Monitor daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly budgets and pacing to achieve key metrics, KPI goals, and ROI targets 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • High attention to detail and ability to anticipate problems before they escalate.

  • Self-starter with a high degree of motivation to succeed in a fast-paced work environment

  • Intermediate to advanced level in Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF)

  • Strong quantitative skills and the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions 

  • Ability to clearly communicate results, key learnings, and areas of opportunities

  • Excellent project management skills with proven ability to meet the deadline. Ability to determine priorities is a big plus. 

  • Quick learner of new technologies, tools, and processes

  • Knowledge of search engine marketing, bidding strategies, and A/B testing is a bonus 

  • BA/BS required
