The team engages with some of the most exciting business areas within AstraZeneca and is faced with solving for a variety of complex business and IT challenges.
About The Role
The S/4 Hana Senior TM consultant – Order, Dispatch to Cash will be responsible for supporting the Design, Development and Delivery of a set of Business Processes, Systems and Technologies associated with the distribution of materials and finished goods within the Operations Supply Network and the distribution of products to various type of external customers. With a focus on leveraging S/4 HANA standard features to realise the Identified business processes
S/4 Hana TM consultant will be aligned to specific areas, typical boundaries for a given role will cover the following scope:
- Distribution of materials between AstraZeneca sites
- Distribution of finished products to Distribution Centres and external customers
- Transportation Management including transportation planning, execution, monitoring and carrier invoice settlement.
Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities Of Role
- As an S/4HANA IT Consultant, you will be responsible for the design of the IT solution that underpins the global standard process design for your capability.
- Support the business teams in the process design to ensure alignment with SAP standard functionality and work with other members of S/4HANA solution design team to ensure that the wider S/4HANA solution is effectively and robustly integrated across all SET areas.
- Ensure latest industry and SAP functionalities are proactively considered within your capability and the wider program.
- Acts as a source of knowledge in one or more sub-processes, systems and technologies associated with Distribution process area.
- Defines, analyses and communicates current, interim and future business processes and improvement opportunities.
- Supports EPO/EPLs to design globally standardized processes by adopting SAP systems and capabilities, minimizing local customisation and deviation.
- Collaborates with the programme and business partners in IT, Master Data and Analytics to define technology, data and analytics requirements for the business processes.
- Ensures non-SAP System requirements are understood and considered in the Business Process and Data designs.
- Supports the process mapping and documentation activities to appropriate level of details.
- Facilities knowledge sharing within the team and the programme.
- Manages/Supports the deployment and change activities.
- Establish influential and highly collaborative relationships with key regional partners.
Essential
- S/4HANA Certified and implementation experience for complex global organizations from design to completion.
- Experience of pharmaceutical supply chain business activities and the required business outcomes within the relevant capability area
- Significant experience and subject matter expertise in Transportation management, which includes complete transportation planning and execution with deep knowledge of freight units and order management, freight cost and settlement management.
- Demonstrate high degree of knowledge in SAP S/4HANA configuration requirements.
- Possess very strong knowledge across other SAP modules on all integration aspects and interfaces between internal and external systems and partners.
- Strong Communication and Relationship Building skills with an ability to Influence others to achieve Objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead in a diverse, global team, within and across functions. Experience with global working and across cultures.
- Strong Knowledge about the SAP technologies and functionalities
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills with Business and IT areas
- Strong skills in understanding business operations, communications, customer and partner engagement, and internal stakeholder management
- Comfortable with ambiguity and possessing an agile and open mindset.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise effectively to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Demonstrate personal credibility and positive energy to manage large work efforts and meet challenging deadlines.
- Innovative capabilities, agile mindset requiring strategic thinking and foresight.
- Knowledge of the SAP application roadmap as it is relevant to your line of business and the ability to translate that roadmap into the AZ strategic view
- Good presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences.
- Knowledge of standard project tools like JIRA, Smart sheets and Solman
- Certification/Experience in SAP S/4HANA – S4 Sales and Distribution or willingness to complete additional certifications.
- SAP Global Trade Services experience
- Experience in life sciences and healthcare.
- Experience in Data Governance
- Exposure to different testing tools
- Worked in a hybrid environment with a mix of internal and external resources in multiple geographical locations.
Engineering Graduate or Postgraduate
