The Position

Mission:

  • The Head of Supply Chain is a key customer touchpoint for operational related topics of the customer journey, who enable the operational aspects of the SCOM model in coordination and complementing the commercial function, and global network. Works collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external partners in meeting customers’ needs and optimizing customer experience. Transmits the customer’s insights upstream in the organization to capture opportunities and prepare future generations of human resources, policies, process and tools.

  • The Head of the Supply Chain is customer-centric driven, proactively resourceful in delivering value beyond medicines to a great customer experience, and assertive in identifying the improvement opportunities along operational aspects of customer journeys.

  • The Head Supply Chain is a team player who understands and has a strong local and global network, being able to leverage on organization capabilities, as well as to create new connections when needed.

  • The Head of Supply Chain is responsible for ensuring and safeguarding the supply of the entire portfolio, maximizing business opportunities, delivering best in class demand and supply chain planning and liaising with global PT every matter related to the availability of our products to the Mexican marketplace.

  • Ensures an efficient and compliant operation of the warehouse and distribution services, managing the key suppliers so that they become partners prepared for the future demands of the Roche portfolio.

Accountabilities:

  • Owns and leads the Order to Cash business process, including sales order management, invoicing, and credit/ debit application and distribution coordination.

  • Owns and leads the outsourcing strategy to Logistics Service Providers, of the storage and distribution services, being ultimately responsible for all processes related to these services in its quality, effectiveness, and compliance.

  • Owns and leads the product demand forecasting process and replenishment forecast process, becoming accountable for the overall Supply Chain function performance. Is the escalation point for all topics related to the local Supply Chain strategy design and execution, owning the decisions rights in all its regards. Guarantee the correct outside-in flow of market information upstream in Roche production, supply and distribution network.

  • Ensures great customer experience by optimizing operational aspects of the customer journey, addressing customers’ needs. Acquires in-depth understanding (the complexities & intricacies) of the operational aspects of customer journey, being an operational subject-matter expert.

  • Drives continuous process improvements, organizational design, resource allocation and people management of the Customer Value Stream Partners (CVSPs) team, and Customer Logistics Managers (CLMs) team.

Skills and Experiences:

  • Experience in agile ways of working and agile organization of at least 3 years

  • Experience in the Pharma industry, at least 5 years in other managerial positions.

  • Supply Chain and Sales Administration

  • Good Digital literacy, being able to understand and leverage digital means and tools

  • Good understanding of LEAN, AGILE and Business Processes Management

  • Strong business Acumen

  • Fluent in the English language.

  • Fluency in other local languages, for example Spanish.

Qualifications:

  • A university degree in business administration or engineering is necessary

  • A MBA with focus in process management and/ or business finance is desirable.

  • Good understanding of digital innovation methodologies and business platforms and tools such as: Iqvia, Patient Flow, EpicX, etc.
